To return an item, simply download the Returns Form and send it back with your item.
Once we have received your returned items, we will check them over to ensure they meet our returns conditions. Once approved, we will process the return request within 1 business day.

We want you to always love shopping online with STOKEDNZ, therefore we are happy to offer refunds or a store credit under the following conditions:
1. Item must be returned to us within 30 days of the original purchase date. Please try on items as soon as they arrive and post back without delay to ensure items are returned to us in time. (Over Christmas, we allow exchanges until Mid Jan)
2. Items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged and returned in the same condition as originally sent.
3. Dawny Drink Bottles - It's not easy to tell if a drink bottle has been used or not, so for this reason we can not accept a return. Please choose carefully.
4. Products such as sunscreen, zinc, bug balm etc can also not be returned.
5. SALE items are not eligible for return. -
If you have requested a refund, once we have received your returned items, we will check them over to ensure they meet our returns conditions. Once approved, we will process the refund (excluding original shipping costs) via your original payment method.
We will process refunds within 1 business day of receiving your returned items. You will also receive an email notification from us confirming your return was received and refund processed.

Unless an item is faulty or an incorrect item was sent, customers will be responsible for the shipping cost to return an item.

We will email you as soon as the return has been received to us and update the status of the return accordingly. STOKEDNZ is not responsible for customs duties for returns of international orders. If there is a charge it will be deducted from the final refund.

Because our range is not mass produced we are unable to hold stock for exchange.
If you require a different size or item, we recommend placing your order and follow the returns process for a refund.

We always try our best but sometimes mistakes happen. If you have received an item you did not order, please contact us on info@stokednz.co.nz so that we can resolve this for you as quickly as possible.

Products are considered faulty if they are received damaged, or if they break within 6 months of purchase. Damage as a result of fair wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Please ensure you follow washing instructions carefully.
Please follow the "How to Return an Item" process for returning your item and email us at info@stokednz.co.nz photo so that we can register this into our system.
We will either replace the faulty item if we have stock available, process a full refund or offer a store credit, after receiving the faulty item back.

All orders are shipped using NZ Post & Post Haste with a tracking reference emailed to you once your order has been shipped.
When possible, orders placed before 12pm NZST are dispatched the same business day, otherwise within 1 business day Monday - Friday.
If the delivery is 3 days past its estimated delivery date, please contact us on info@stokednz.co.nz so that we can start an investigation on your behalf. -

Deliveries to Australia and sent via NZ Post and usually takes 5-15 business days. Sign on delivery provided.
Once your orders arrives in your country it is handed over to the local postal system to complete delivery. We recommend you contact your local post office if you experience any problems with your delivery.
Customers are responsible for paying any import duties (including VAT) imposed by your country of Government.

We have carefully considered the environment when choosing our packaging.
Your order will be sent in a recycled plastic courier bag (made in NZ). These bags can be reused for sending your returns.
Gift wrapping - if you would like something gift wrapped please let us know. -
Customers are responsible for paying any customs or import duties imposed by your country of residence (ex. New Zealand).
STOKEDNZ is legally required to declare the commercial value and include an invoice with all internationally order. Customs fees will vary between countries therefore we recommend contacting your local customers office for further information. -
STOKEDNZ cannot be held responsible for any delays with Post Haste / NZ Post as these are outside of our control.
STOKEDNZ is not liable for lost or stolen shipments so please ensure you nominate a secure delivery address.
If any packages are returned to us as a result of an incorrect address, you will be liable for any additional shipping costs to have the product shipped again.

Long story short, but STOKEDNZ was founded after recovering from a brain injury (if you haven't had one, it's a shit time!). STOKED is a word I generally use to describe my state of happiness. And I was stoked I was still alive, had a second chance etc etc.
Also after I handed in my final university paper I bought a 1 one ticket to Canada with no job, no money, no worries. I landed in RevelSTOKE and maybe had the best year of my life snowboarding evvvvveryday and riding my bike... Until my visa ran out.
And NZ - well that's kinda self explanatory.

STOKEDNZ is all about people and places.... So much so I've named our Towelies and throws after them!
Our Towelies are named after people that have inspired me in my life. Each one has a wee description describing their personality. Is there a Towelie that resonates with you?

So, a few things you need to decide:

I'm constantly trying to make this as easy as possible, so chances are if you are asking a question, others want to ask it too.
2) What weight Towelie do you want?
We have 2 different fabric weights of Towelies and you can filter by these on the Towelie page.
Lightweight - This is our super lightweight / quick drying 100% Turkish Cotton Towelie. It packs up tiny and is epic for travel.

- Not as warm as the other Towelies.
Warmest -The thickest, warmest Towelie we make. Perfect for that person that is always cold, on the boat or throwing on after a spa / hot pools to walk / drive home in.

- Super warm 500 GSM Terry Lined Towelie. (Terry lined = fluffy and warm on the inside, but sand / sticks / grass etc won't stick to the outside, handy huh?).
- Really, really absorbent and feels more like a "traditional" towel.

TURKISH COTTON

Yes! Our STOKEDNZ towels and Towelies can hold up to 3 times their weight in water.
They have been used for yeeeears at Turkish Hamams.
Hamams are an important part of the Turkish culture.
This bathing style takes place in a marble covered, sauna type room, the best wash of your life and then an oil massage. In Hamams they give you Turkish cotton towels (made from the same stuff as our Towelies).

Because I (Debs) honestly think it is the best! It is very very absorbent, packs up to basically nothing and drys so fast! Which is exactly what I was after when making my very first Towelie samples.
I have some Turkish Cotton Towels from 10 years ago and they still look and wash up like new!

I've been known to use my towels as a scarf, picnic blanket, throw on the couch, sarong, and obviously anywhere you need a towel!

Nope, because our Towelies are so lightweight, they are more energy efficient than a traditional terry towel as they don't need washing as often and don't need to go in a dryer.
